Dutch brewery ‘t Koelschip (The Refrigerated Ship or maybe The Coolship) today announced the release of a new “world’s strongest beer.” In a nod to the last world’s strongest beer, The End of History from Brewdog, they have named their beer Start the Future.
This has gone beyond silly.

Come on! Seriously, enough is enough. I agree with you completely, “this has gone beyond silly.”
The dead squirrel with a bottle up it’s ass from Brew Dog has gone far enough. How can you keep this up? The real question though is WHY. Of course it’s all for PR, but I really hate seeing this from some great craft breweries.They’re missing the whole point here.
In addition to that, I haven’t seen any thing positive said about Brew Dog’s recent attempt, and it’s all negative. If you ask me, they’ve done more damage to their image than anything else.
